Tal River

One of the 2 major rivers that pass near the Semudan capital of Zanji and is linked by the Sun Canal to the southern Kama River, the Tal is an easily navigable huge river system of great importance to the Semudan, Ruby Empire of Redin. The city of Yola rebelled against central control, and blocked imperial access to the Leviathan Ocean along the Tal, forcing the empire to use the far more dangerous Kama River or find alternate transport routes to the ocean and the eastern portion of empire.
