Dr Kolb was the head of developing Fission Weapons. While that project didn't fully go ahead, it lead to the development of Project Obsidian Panic.Dr Kolb's knowledge of Fission weapons also helped develop the engines for the ships that were used for the Nasgovian Exodus in 110 AC.

LIKES:
- Stars - Dr Kolb is a big fan of the stars and the power they can produce. They wish that one-day Hoomans will be able to handle that sort of power too.
- Science - Besides their research, Dr Kolb is very interested in learning and listening about other areas of Science. They are more than happy to help others and look over their work for them.
DISLIKES:
- Humans - Dr Kolb severely dislikes the Nasgovian Humans, which increased after the The Two Month War.
- Rejection - Dr Kolb takes rejection very personally, especially where it comes to their work. It doesn't stop them from persevering, however.

Family Ties
Dr Kolb gets along with their family, and loves their spouse, Haedi, very much. Haedi is mostly unbothered by their partner's eccentricities and doesn't understand how fission energy works.Dr Kolb had a good relationship with their child, Leto, but as the latter grew up, a strain began to form because of Dr Kolb's opinions and work relating to Fission weaponry. It didn't help that Leto's partner Nadira was not fond of Dr Kolb and their work either.
Dr Kolb gets along very well with their grandchildren and dotes on them a lot.
