Maritine (a.k.a. Boat Hooman)

Maritine is a hooman who lives on a boat in the ocean bordering the Hooman and edgevillian nations. They were taken from the Childcare Facilities by a sympathetic Red Coat who was having second thoughts with their profession.
Maritine spent most of their childhood by the coast, hidden away from most of society out of fear of what might happen to them. When they became an adult, they worked by the harbours doing manual labour before one day they took a boat out to sea and never came back.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Maritine has bluish-grey skin and dark blue hair. They have limited vision due to only having one eye and has slightly rounded horns. Despite this, they are relatively healthy for a hooman.

Apparel & Accessories

Maritine wears a full-body swimsuit, boots and coat, all of which they stole from Edgevillian ships. They wear an eye patch to give the illusion they have two eyes. They have a mask, but they rarely wear it, instead hiding it away for safekeeping.

Maritine has issues over their appearance and slight fear of other hoomans, due to being hidden away for most of their childhood by their adoptive parent.

• Patient - Maritine is very good at waiting for long periods of time without getting fidgety about it.

• Rude - Maritine doesn't have good social etiquette after being out at sea alone for a long time.

LIKES:

• Ocean - Despite the dislike and fear most hoomans have of the ocean, Maritine finds it as a way of escape. At times it can also be relaxing.
• Taking things - Maritine has developed a habit of just taking things they like without regard for anyone else's feelings. It's gotten to the point of a reflex.

DISLIKES:

• Fish Eyes - Maritine's diet mostly consists of fish, and the eyes and head are the worst part in their opinion.
• Hoomans - Maritine is very wary around others hoomans (except for their adoptive parent). They worry about what other hoomans would think of them if they ever showed their face.

Contacts & Relations

Maritine has conflicting feelings over their adoptive parent, as they feel some resentment for being hidden away, but at the same time know that their parent sacrificed a fair amount just so they could have a chance at living.
