The Puma is the larger sister of the Predator off road transport. Like its sister it is a 4 wheeled drive, off road transport suitable for almost all of terrain encountered on Horizon. The predator is a capable of carrying 4 people and additional cargo on the vehicle.

Mechanics & Inner Workings
Hydro-Electric Power Cells provide the power source. Electrolysis within the fuel cell generates the power that drives the vehicles engine. The power cell requires servicing every 2 years to replace the catalysts. And the distilled water requires topping up every 3 months.
Electric-Motor provides the necessary drive to the Vehicle. It is a DC Motor allowing variable speed and torque control for different conditions.
Chromatic Paint on the vehicles allow the frame and body work to be recoloured at will by the operator. This can be used to help camouflage the vehicle. The onboard computer for the Puma stores a prefixed array of patterns.

History
Science and Security teams shortly after major settlement and exploration of Horizon began realized that they needed an upscaled version of the Predator with additional capabilities for them.
The Research and Development team on Horizon set about redesigning the Predator chassis to incorporate the additional features needed. They expanded the body to incorporate additional seating. They added a towing hook and coupler to enable a designed trailer to be fitted for additional cargo carrying capacity for field teams.
To meet the security teams requirement for a fast transport that could carry a security detail in an emergency, they fitted a passenger hookup system to the outside body, utilizing hand grabs, footrail and a quick-release coupling for a harness.
These new features increased the size and weight of the Puma a significant amount and required the engine and hydro-electric fuel cells to be upgraded to give the same performance as the original Predator.
