The Luxum

This is the First species that i made and therefore my favorite. they are the main setting of this world and will receive more love then others. They are mutated flowers which have a strong connection to the elemental radiation know as Lux (article, generic).

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Luxums are flower of origin and became ent-like creatures trough evolution, but because of multiple changes during the Four Seasons Era their Anatomy chanced. While they look mostly human from the outside, there are some distinctive differences. They do not have any nails. Instead the end of the toes and fingers look like the end of leafs. This is due to the fact that the Luxums bodies can't process Calcium. Another difference are the hair color and eye colors, which can be any color. Some are rarer then others and black and white are considered to be the rarest. They are also a lot less likely to
So far as the inner body goes (i haven't figured that one out yet )

Genetics and Reproduction

The Luxums are technically a-sexual, yet because of there obbesion to look and act like humans the reproduction is only done by the females and only after the a breeding ritual. Which looks a lot like having sex, but had no biological function. The females place seeds within here own body in which the sapling lives untill it can function on his/her own.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Original the Luxum lived from photosynthesis, but because of their reduction of green cells in the body this alone could not sustain the bodies of the Luxum. They now mostly eat vegetables and meat from the few domestic animals within the Garden

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They are capable of all sensory capabilities that humans were capable of, yet pain and other touch related perceptions are weaker then they were with humans. The Luxum also have a strong connection to a specific part of nature which differs per ethnicity. This connection would eventually lead to the discovery of Lux .
