Personal history
Helen's parent's died in an accident when she was very young. Pancho immediately laid claim to her parent's holdings, which included absorbing their employees and family members as guards and slaves. Helen was forced into prostitution but developed a relationship with one of Pancho's guards, Bull. During the Battle of Gamble, Pancho's caravan was disabled. When the Federal rescue forces arrived, they executed Pancho and freed his slaves. Helen decided to take advantage of her status as a refugee for free passage to Freehaven where she intended to start a new life. En route to Freehaven, she decided to join the Federal Navy along with Adira.
