Bokoblin

Bokoblins are a species of primitive, gremlin-like humanoids with pig-like noses, large pointed ears, long ape-like arms, and bright glowing eyes.

Basic Information

Dietary Needs and Habits

Bokoblins are omnivores and are typically hunters and gatherers. They don't actively grow their own crops, opting instead to raid or forage. They will also hunt - typically wild animals such as boars, deer, and horses. However, they have been known to capture and eat other humanoids.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Being nomadic, Bokoblins rarely form groups larger than a small tribe or 20 or 30. More typically encountered is a hunting party of two or three, or a gang of five or six.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Bokoblins have darkvision.

Civilization and Culture

Average Technological Level

Bokobolins are not a very intelligent species. The vast majority of their tools are rudimentary: wooden clubs, sharpened tree-branches as spears, rocks. It is not uncommon to see one with a crude bow, rusty sword, or rusty shield, which were most likely scavenged or stolen.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Bokoblins communicate by speaking Boko.  While they cannot read or write, they can understand and draw crude symbols and drawing if needed.

Common Dress Code

Bokoblins, if they wear anything at all, will typically wear scraps of animal hide, leather or cloth wraps, and jewelry made of animal bones.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Bokoblins are typically hostile to most other creatures, but have been seen working together with their distant cousins, Bulblins. They have also been documented working with Moblins, although it is believed Bokoblins do this in order to benefit from the safety the larger Moblins might provide.
