Bulblin
Bulblins are a species of goblin-like humanoids. They typically have a small frame with long arms. Their faces are similar to human faces, except with slightly larger mouths filled with sharp teeth, and their eyes glow orange. They also have bull-like horns that grow out the sides of their heads.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
Bulblins can grow to be quite large (well over 7 feet tall) and quite heavy, although it is rare for most to live long enough to do so.
A bulblin's horns grow as it ages, so a bulblin's age can be approximated by the length of its horns. An elder bulblin can have horns 2 to 3 feet long.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Bulblins are omnivores. The weaker members of bulblin society are forced to perform the menial work of farming and gardening, while the stronger go on hunting and raiding parties.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Bulblins typically live in tribes of around 100 members. This tribe is usually led by a solitary male (a "king bulblin"), who is much larger than all the other bulblins in the tribe. It is common practice in bulblin society for the king bulbin to kill any rank-and-file bulbins in the tribe that reach a certain age, height, and weight, as they are perceived by the king bulblin as a threat to his power. This is how a king bulblin maintains his control of the tribe.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Bulblins have darkvision.
Civilization and Culture
Average Technological Level
Bulblins can manufacture their own weapons, including iron weapons such as swords and shields. Some have even been known to utilize explosives.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Bulblins communicate using Boko.
Common Dress Code
Bulblins will wear clothing like most civilized races (shirts, trousers, masks, glove, caps, foot covering) made from cloths and leather. However, their clothing is not as well-made (loose stitching, uneven lengths, ill-fitting, etc.), and serves entirely for utility and not fashion.
