Fairy

Fairies are a magical species of small, benevolent beings who originate from the Fairy Realm and are known for their healing and life-saving magics. Regular Fairies resemble tiny Hylians with dragonfly-like or butterfly-like wings that sprout from their back, which they use to fly. They also emit a soft glow of various colors from their bodies.
A fairy whose powers have grown to an extraordinary level becomes known as a Great Fairy. A Great Fairy's size can range from the size of average Hylian all the way up to giant-sized. Their magics can go beyond healing, and they tend to serve as patrons to other regular Fairies.
When in the Light World, Fairies tend to make residence around small bodies of water, such as natural springs. It is said that depositing an ample amount of coin into a Fairy's spring brings the donor good luck. Kokiri Fairies are summoned from the Fairy Realm by the spirit of the Great Deku Tree to serve as companions to the Kokiris.
