Master Sword

The Master Sword is a legendary weapon. It is said to have been crafted by gods and infused with their sacred powers, causing it to be a bane to evil and to be wielded only by those that have proven they are pure of heart and strong of body. Fables speak of the sword being instrumental in repulsing evils in times long ago.
In art and literature, the Master Sword is often seen as resting in a pedestal, or being wielded by the demigod Link.
