Link
Legendary Hero Link
Link is a demigod of the world. He is an avatar of courage and heroism. He is honored and worshipped throughout the land by good-hearted people, and is viewed as an idol on how to live one's life.
It is accepted belief that Link, Zelda, and Ganon go through cycles of being reborn to mortal bodies and are destined to meet to decide the sway of good and evil in the world. All the Links of the past whose deeds have been recorded may not have had "Link" as their birth name, but were the vessel that the demigod Link used at the time.
In art and literature, Link is depicted as a young male Hylian clad in a green tunic, wearing a floppy, pointed green hat, and wielding the Master Sword.
