Red Sand War

The Red Sand War was a war fought between the Gerudo Kingdom and a large Bulblin clan. The war occurred exclusively in the Gerudo Desert. The war retrieved its name after the numbers battles where the sand of the battlefield would be left red, soaked with the blood of the fallen.
The war lasted 5 years before the Gerudo army successfully drove the Bulblin forces out of the desert. General Nubia Ansari was instrumental in the Gerudo victory, being undefeated in any battles she served or commanded in.
While the war officially ended 10 years ago, Bulblin insurgents still harass and raid Gerudo outposts and travelers around the Gerudo Desert.
