The oath was sealed with a symbolic act involving the drawing of a significant amount of blood, representing the initiate's willingness to sacrifice and commit to the cause.   Summoning of the Shadow Veil: One of the most pivotal and enigmatic rituals was the Summoning of the Shadow Veil. Led by Renaesella herself, initiates gathered within the heart of The Necropolis, surrounded by the hushed whispers of ancient incantations and the flickering glow of candles. The ritual aimed to create a metaphysical link between the initiate's essence and the essence of Yxtarr, the goddess of death. Through a meticulously choreographed sequence of movements, invocations, and offerings, the Shadow Veil—a spectral shroud that represented the interconnectedness of life and death—was conjured. Initiates were instructed to step through this veil, symbolizing their acceptance of the duality of existence and their alignment with the forces that transcended mortality. Passing through the veil connected the initiates to the Necropolis and confirmed their acceptence of death, allowing Renaesella through Yxtarr's Grimoire to end the life of any being that has passed through the veil through a dark ritual.   Pursuit of Forbidden Knowledge: As initiates completed these rituals, they embarked on a lifelong journey of exploration and transformation. The order's members were granted access to the esoteric teachings and dark arts contained within Yxtarr's Grimoire. They were encouraged to delve into the intricacies of necromancy, soul manipulation, and the manipulation of life energies.
