Aniste Monastery
The Farseers Conflict
The Anisteri have a longstanding rivalry with an organization known as The Farseers. The Farseers value the weight of the ever changing future they can see through their gift of premonition, which directly clashes with the value the Anisteri have placed on learning the history and using it to sculpt the future. This difference has caused many conflicts throughout the years, violent battles and an unending trail of retribution between members since before the Dark Era, even going so far as nations being thrown into full wars due to the two organizations strife and political weight their advisors can carry.
Currently this rivalry has become inflamed once again due to Sovereign Tyrael IX placing both Anisteri and Farseer advisors in her council. Causing members of both groups to become divided over how leadership has allowed this perceived insult to occur. Especially since Tyrael's selection has led other countries rulers to do the same and seek aid from both groups.
Structure
Ƴteẍo
Pronounced (EEyu-tay-sho). Leader of the Monastery, loosely translates to "Parent of the Pride" using an old language that is only used in formal occasion. The Ƴteẍo carries the most authority within the monastery, but is still guided and kept in check by the Ẑul-al-lįn.
Ẑul-al-lįn
Pronounced (Zhul-all-lee-N). Is a council made up of senior Anisteri who have recieved the title of Lįn, or Lotus, for mastering their teachings and successfully completed a final quest given to them by the Ƴteẍo. They provide advice and council to the Ƴteẍo, as well as help teach the other Anisteri and hand out assignments as needed.
Anisteri
Everyone who does not fall within one of the above groups falls into the label of Anisteri. Separated into large divisions dependent on seniority and performance. These divisions are typically then separated into squadrons to handle missions and directives.

Culture
The Anisteri monks cover a wider array of personalities, virtues, and values. Above all of these are the three tenants that members carry, which is the importance of knowledge, loyalty, and family. Fully realized members of the Anisteri take the name of the Ƴteẍo as their own, growing the "family" that binds the monastery together. While they are still considered separate from the main ruling family since they share no blood ties, they are treated no different by those with the natural family ties.
This leads the Anisteri monks to build strong emotional ties to those they care for, and to feel like a guardian to the things they wish to defend. Always willing to lend a hand to those in need the Anisteri are highly regarded by most of society and treated with respect for the aid they have provided over thousands of years.

Public Agenda
The goal of the Aniste Monastery is to catalog and record the history of the world around them and its important events. Originally founded before the The Thousand Year War in order to assist in the war efforts, the current iteration of the Anisteri rebuilt themselves sometime during the Dark Era, taking on the new ideologies and goal to never let another period go unrecorded.
