General Summary
Session Briefing
The group will be introduced to Cathrea, the old world. Here, they already have good gear, moderately much wealth and so on. They will get hired by a group of "Pitwalkers" to go into the Anomaly Abyss to retrieve some ancient artifact. What they don't know is that these Pitwalkers are malicious and are trying to get their gear and kill them by throwing them down the endless pit. After falling to their deaths, they awaken on Ignotas, the actual world setting of the campaign, where they are bunched together and assumed to be a former Pitwalker squad. They should be overwhelmed by the new things and be enrolled as a
Soulventure at the end of the session, at least a Soulventure in the academy.
Story and Player Choices
MSQ
First Scene
"Does a xx hit?" is the first sentence of the campaign. Using a d4 to decide which player is in the scene. The player either does or doesn't get hit with a kick by an NPC.
You as well, get the fuck out of my sight and don't you dare come back here before bringing some valuable shit with you!— Lillyah
They lie outsie the room they were in, with the other PCs sitting arranged on a bench, seemingly been given the same treatment as well. A Butler then comes by to escort the PCs outside where they are then, after saying goodbys to the butler, greeted by a group of Pitwalkers that want to recruit them and help them get on the good side of their boss again.
Quite the show. And it's not like you brought nothing back this week. Great Falcon Fangs, Farmers Artifacts and other Ressources, not too shabby. You look like capable adventurers, why not join me and my crew on our next excursion? We'd appreciate some extra hands!— Leo Cleave
The group could recognize the NPC as a pretty high ranking esteemed Pitwalker. Kind, courageous, a veteran people look up to.
Introduction for Elisaas Character into Ignotas
When its his turn to fall into the abyss, he should hear gods discussing something along the lines of "oh, it seems like this sould is already broken, no need for us to do anything about it then. A very special one indeed..."
