Passage to the New World
Here is where it all started. I want this place to be welcoming. A happy place in a grim world, where people foster hope, in face of danger. That sounds nice, a building showcasing what this world could look like... someday.
A Warm Welcome
When we first arrived on Ignotas, it was a dark world. Full of danger from the first second, unforgiving and deadly. Fortunately, New Souls all arrive through the same medium we once did, The Stream. This portal of sorts is the central point, around which we will build our first building, the Passage to the New World.Birth of the OrigInn
While the project started off as just a way for new arrivals to not die, we enlarged the vision a bit. The Passage will be redesigned to become the biggest Inn on Ignotas. We want our Soulventures to return from battle and relax with a cold drink, hot food and cozy bedding. Additionally, an entire room will be built to accomodate new arrivals, equipped with personell stationed to explain the situation and drinks at the ready. Additionally, leisure rooms and private meeting rooms will be made available, with more expansions to come.Structure
For now, the floor plan consists of a base floor, where the main Inn is housed, a Stream room, in which the new souls arrive, and a first floor in which different apartments with different features are built.
The Inn itself will have two huge bars with liquor, two kitchens, and about 40 tables which will all be served by our staff. A stage where bands and bards can showcase their talent is also in the making, whereas a medium sized store for weaponry, trinkets and more is provided as well. In the upper levels, the apartments range from one to five beds and have additional optional features such as sound-, trinket-, or magicproof. High class apartments come with personal staff and culinary experiences all around the clock.
Everchanging Properties
The Passage to the New World is supposed to be a symbol of the future. A construct showcasing what we have yet to, and have already accomplished. Thus, the exterior and interior design is set to change every few years. The OrigInn is an ever evolving artpiece, and should pride itself on that.
