Merboitha
Structure
Culture
Merboitha is an incredibly diverse country, housing people of nearly all known races and cultures within its borders. The primary cultures are Nymphos and Ardun however, which span the bulk of the country. Both cultures are very accepting of others, creating a society that rarely causes people to become outsiders.
Artificers in Merboitha
Merboitha is one of the few countries willing to openly accept the art of Imbuing mundane objects with arcane magic following the events of the Great Schism and the ending of the Third Age. Within Merboitha Artificers are free to practice their work, however they must keep a record of all objects that they have Imbued, and are only allowed to Imbue objects for persons other than themselves for a certain amount of time before they must end such an enchantment. For most Artificers this timeline is a maximum of one year.
Along with these restrictions, Artificers must be affiliated with an Artificer's Guild. There are three such guilds within Merboitha; The Golden Hammer, Nebelander Angeth's Guild of Artificery, and The Hallowgarde, all of which also have their associated school attached to them and require their own dues from their members.
On top of the regulations to the Artificer, any person wanting to have an item Imbued must recieve Imbuing Documentation signed by a Baron, who must provide records of all such documents to their respective Duke each year. All of this beurocratic regulation makes it a very costly endeavor for any common folk to obtain and Imbued item.
A Side Note
"Common Currency" is simply the standard currency used in D&D 5e
