Personal history
Born in Jalka Calum grew up with his friend Sone. He is the middle child of his siblings, having two brothers, James and Peter, younger and older respectively. With Peter running away to Turmfik after a falling out with his father and James being considerably younger than him Sone was the perfect companion/sidekick to his adventurous ways. The pair would often explore the deepest and darkest parts of the city, mapping out the entirety in their heads. They then met Laura who joined them on their adventures.
At the age of nineteen he received a conscription letter from the Arkaiin military and had to leave his simple life behind to become part of the military. He discovered later that war preparations were going forward and that his knowledge of Jalka was of a massive importance to the military. He complied with the military, which did not ruin his carefree ways, becoming a Desert Veteran, an accolade only awarded to those who can survive the conditions of Enda. This was earnt at great difficulty to Calum as his desire to adventure often let his mind wonder throughout his training.
During his time training he met his future squad mates and friends whom he would eventually lead to form a respectable squad, well known within the military ranks, regardless of this however he still keeps in touch with Laura.

Motivation
Although part of the Arkaiin military Calum is still determined to find Sone and is driven to do so to the point that he has mapped almost the entirety of the Arna Desert and the Southern Marshes of Dayne, South of the Wernal Sea. He is not concerned with the motivations of the military or his nation but will obey orders willingly, especially if they provide him with exploration opportunities.

Very good at making friends and lasting relationships making him a great leader, however, he fears being alone and struggles to cope on his own.
His carefree attitude also tends to get him into trouble.
