Apraxia Academy of the Arcane
Purpose / Function
Apraxia Academy is a very prestigious and wealthy school of arcane magic. They mainly cater to wizards, but also accept sorcerers and reluctantly, warlocks.
They also have a Druidry Department, where students that are primarily wood elves learn druidic magic. They are looked down on by the rest of the school, faculty and students alike.
Graduating from this school takes 10 years.
History
From 876 to 886 1E, Varralan attended the Academy as a Necromancy major. During his time there, he met and married Azariah, who was a Divination major from 877 to 887 1E.
After graduating, Varralan became the Professor of Necromancy from 886 1E to 953 1E. In 953 1E, his wife Azariah was called to become the Oracle of Zelphus, so he left his job to move to Zelphus with her.
Xenophus had a long career at Apraxia Academy. He went from being a student to being a Conjuration Professor to being Headmaster. He was Headmaster for many years until his death in 48 3E.
Shortly after Xenophus' death, his son Ghost attended Apraxia Academy and took several remedial reading lessons. He became the Professor of Illusion and Conjuration.
