In 54 3E, Malabor lead the Senate Meeting where the Elvish Senate discussed what to do about Queen Belladonna. Nettie negotiated with him, offering the Crew of the Sea Serpent's help in defeating her if they could gain control of Atlantis.
Malabor also ordered for Prince Stark Jr. to be kidnapped and used as a hostage, which upset the Group of Elves. They decided to attempt to assassinate Malabor. In his house, they found the Brooch of Time Traveling.
When they did so, they learned that he was a Lich. They defeated him in combat and dissolved his body in a vat of acid. Because the Brooch of Time Traveling was his phylactery, he returned days later. He happened to return when Corellon Larethian was talking to the group. Corellon waved his hand and made Malabor vanish forever.
