Session 7: Fate Report

General Summary

During the night of the previous session, Dreadcrusher had a dream of war and conflict. Hundreds of thousands of warriors all fighting as he blazed a path through them all. As his maul swung about, wreaking a bloody toll, they all asked him various questions of strength and war. By the end of his dream, he had been selected by an unknown deity.

WHAT IS YOUR CONQUEST?

On their first day off since the arrival of the Exodus, the party elected to go out on the town, as they all had similar activities to partake in, except Dreadcrusher, who had made his way to the Temporary Encampment in search of an abandoned home. The others, however, left together and went to Mord's general store after a brief run-in with Qaraia, who joined them. After Loric purchased a few items, including a chess set and a map, they had traveled to the Running Badger to speak with U'damir. After Dewglow purchased a few items of her own, Loric asked the shopkeep about the map's accuracy. During this time, they also discovered three countries that had been unknown to them previously: Pandasamir, Kodaros, and Mandasara. Of these three, the latter two are highly religious and at war with each other.

Afterward, they found a local clinician, where they then parted ways with Chancer Fate. Inside, she met an irritable attendant who would not let her through. Chancer Fate turned around and walked outside to find a handsome man, who she later found out to be the owner of this building, Doctor Deimos. She then spent the day with him, learning as much as she could, before going back to the castle.

The rest of the party would then reach the Temporary Encampment, where they spoke with an Imperial agent named Siriti. She provided them with the locations of two people that had been asked for, while Loric parted ways. Heinrich Von Kleist and Dewglow would then move on for heartfelt reunions as the two found Galyna and Kasid Namaa respectively. Loric, on the other hand, followed a scent that led him to a female of his own people. After a brief discussion, he suddenly ran into his own brother, who had once again shunned him. After meeting with their respective peoples, the three each head back to the castle.

Dreadcrusher, meanwhile, went throughout the Temporary Encampment looking for an abandoned home. After several hours of searching he had finally found one. Afterward, he had went and secured a means of transportation to reach the plague ships. Upon completion of his task, he made his way back to the castle.

Later, in the evening, Loric would be out in the courtyard, where Yrya Sorada would find him dejectedly thinking. The two would have a meaningful conversation of the Mother and the Father, the gods of Loric's people, while another line of conversation would occur in parallel, unbeknownst to the princess. After they finished speaking, the two decided to go out for a walk on the town, to show the princess her people.

Meanwhile, at some point during the Temporary Encampment, the party had gotten separated from Qaraia. After searching for the others, she was suddenly pulled into an alleyway, and blood spattered across the wall.
