My Immortal
Urrak's wife, Ancy, was a member of an Alderrathi thieves guild out of Onyxward before meeting Urrak. She had some sort of run-in with a group called The Gray- some sort of powerful vampire sect. She decided to flee to Nampuli to escape.
According to Malica she received a Sending from a friend in the Onyxward guild saying that the Gray was coming for them. She then packed up everything of value from the house she shared with Urrak, leaving her ring and an apology pinned to the kitchen table with her dagger. She then traveled to Lughagen, using the name Ravana, where she met Malica. Malica had been acting as a face for the Lughagen guild and decided to help Ravana look into the matter. By this time the Onyxward guild had gone dark.
The two of them worked together for months putting together clues and research and finally, when evidence pointed towards the Gray, Ravana revealed her history with them.
Malica decided to act on her interest. She tried to woo Ravana, and when Ravana said she was in love with a half-orc, Malica used her changeling abilities to turn into one. Ravana then got angry and left, saying she never wanted to see any of Malica again. Malica left shortly after that, heading south to get out of the country. She believes that it was only a matter of time before Ravana would be found out by the Gray and killed.
Malica took Ravana's appearance and became Cyan. She was in Westband when the Quantum Riftshift Slipstream Teletransmitter brought her to Bellbury She met Urrak and eventually came to realize that she was the half-orc Ravana-Ancy had spoken of. After some amount of missteps and drama, Urrak and Malica settled into a romantic and sexual relationship, though Malica promised that she would do what she could to help Urrak seek out her wife. She stopped using Cyan and went back to Malica.
Another random teleportation landed Malica in The Silk Curtain in Westband and she was arrested for trespassing since she was not recognized. The Dawnguard rescused her from the prison, learning that someone named Vash Kidham was going to pick her up for transfer to another prison that night. Once she was back in Bellbury, Malica explained that she thought Alderrathi prisons must have some sort of magical ledgers or some other way for the Gray to be able to tell when transients and other unwanted folks- people who would not be missed- were arrested because it is those people they would transfer to their own custody for feeding purposes.
