Bellbury
Bellbury is a near deserted town along the Muyar River. It was an agricultural hub, home to a large citrus orchard, and a trade stop from the ore-producing mountain villages to the west and Riverrun to the east.
Demographics
Most of the town's inhabitants, like most of Vyon, are human and half-elven. There is a small neighborhood of other races towards the southern end of town
Government
Eloise Moonstream is the Baroness and rules both the town and is owner/overseer of the orchard. She answers to Duchess Katarina in Riverrun.
Notable Individuals and Locations
Eloise Moonstream
The half-elf Baroness of Bellbury and the smaller towns to the west of hers, she is also the de facto owner/manager of the city's citrus grove. She has the typical "Moonstream look" with pale skin and silvery-blonde hair that she tends to keep in up-dos. She's feminine and charming and tends to get too caught up in the lists and ledgers and logic of ruling. She's married to Cae and has a daughter, Misha who live with her at the Moonstream Manor.Moonstream Manor
Moonstream Manor is easily the most ornate and expensive-looking building in town. Its exterior is made of well-crafted stone and has the Moonstream symbol- a crescent moon and river- embossed int he wall above the entryway. It is both a central location for government of Bellbury and the settlements further to the east, and a home for Eloise Moonstream and her family. The lower level contains a holding cell, bunks for the small contingent of Moonstream guards, a kitchen, and a large open room with two long tables and a desk that serves as Eloise's office, a meeting hall, and dining room. The upper level contains the family's living space and guest quarters, as well as a small apartment for the steward.Defences

Industry & Trade
Bellbury itself features a Merchant's District that runs the length of the highway with a town square between the city and the orchard. Farms dot the landscape to the east and west, and a bustling Docks District provides for shipping up and down the river.
Notable Individuals and Locations
The Cracked Cask
- A primary meeting place, eating place, and one of only two inns in the town for travelers, it served as a home base for the Dawnguard during the Bellbury Incident and following events. The cellar/basement were adjusted slightly to afford Stool a more comfortable living space. The exterior walls were stone for the first few feet, then wood throughout otherwise. It had a slate roof and a large sign outside depicting a barrel of alcohol with a large crack in it, pouring into a flagon.Smithy
On the southern edge of the square is a wooden building with an exterior forge. The forge is in open air, surrounded by some tools and items, but there's also an actual building built around it in a sort of U-shape. Most of the items you can see are farming tools, shovels, hoes, a couple pickaxes, but there are a few shortswords, javelins, and daggers inside.Infrastructure

Docks-
A dock provides access to the Muyar River for the mountain villages further east. A large town center sits at the meeting place of the roads that lead to other cities and the docks.Town Square
A stone fountain that sits in the intersection of the east-west road between Clearhall and Riverrun and the end of the road to the northwest towards Grimpeak, as well as a smaller road south to the docks. The outer edge of the square is full of carts and stands where smaller merchants peddle their wares. Most of the major places of interest sit on the town square- the orchard to the northwest, Moonstream Manor to the north, The Cracked Cask to the northeast, the Temple of Takara to the west, the smithy to the south, and the general store to the southeast. The square, and a distance along each of the major roads away from it, is one of the few parts of town where the road is paved in stone.Guilds and Factions

- To the west of the town square, a stone and wood building with pillars carved to look like tree trunks marks the Temple to Takara. Priests of Takara use the temple to live and perform domestic services when weather does not allow for it to be done outside.Commoners

History
Bellbury was a small town that sat at the convergence of the two roads from the mountain villages to the west to the single road that leads into Riverrun to the east. It was the first point at which the western towns could load their ore onto boats to ship downriver rather than carting it the distance. A large citrust grove provided work for residents, but during harvest season, it also had a large seasonal, migratory workforce.
In 3Y20, however, the Bellbury Incident ended up killing most of the 300 residents. Poni was attempting to create a more accessible teleportation system that would allow non-casters to use technology to teleport. During an experiment, the Quantum Riftshift Slipstream Teletransmitter exploded, sending all 300 residents to the reaches of time and space. Only several dozen were rescued. The rest were considered lost, likely dead. The town itself was left largely intact, but without workers and residents, many of the buildings, farms, and industries ground to a halt. It is unclear if it will recover. Many survivors left, unable to sustain their lives in the hollowed town. Few have volunteered to fill it, but a group of 20 outcasts from Kinetas have relocated for a chance at a better life.
