Galbareth
Overview
During the Magical Wildfire of 1797, Forest of Galbareth was burned to the ground with Magical Wildfire. The Magical Wildfire burned everything in its path including all the human villages and towns, leaving a burned out wasteland in its wake.
Now, the human villages and towns have started to come back. The first one to come back was named after the forest that caught on fire, Galbareth. It is located on the border of the Elven lands.
As the new people come to town and build their homes, they notice that everything in the area is alive with magic. They have found a way to get supplies by setting up trade with Elven cities for the different magical flora and fauna that has been found where the Forest of Galbareth used to be.
Demographics
This town has a mixture of human, elves and half-elves. The elven lands to the north-east have grown in population and need to expand. These are people who are willing to work together to build a new city. As they get set up, more people from the elven cities will join them to help grown the town, and move further into the devastation to build more towns.
Government
The town will start with a mayor, but will move to a town council as it grows into a city.
Geography
The geography is a devastated plains from the magical fire. No one has tried to recuperate the land. Some of the elves coming to live here are specialist in agriculture to see if they can work the land to grow crops again.
