In a single day, the entire world is turned on its head. What began with spectacular meteor showers across the planet, quickly turns into an event of such societal upheaval and magnitude that the world would never be the same. The second flotilla of vessels sent to colonise Kepler 77, the Thesean Flotilla, arrives at the planet as a rag-tag group of ships barely able to function. Disembarking en masse in desperation, millions of their inhabitants descend upon the planet. They bring with them foreign, strange technology and beliefs and histories that contradict everything that has been established in the cultures across the planet. The world would never be the same.

History of Lavenna
Lavenna, the land of violet fields, of the thousand cultures, the southern jewel. It has long stood as an impossibly divided and environmentally devastated region with countless ethnicities, religions, languages and nationalities. Now, it stands as one. This is the history of how this vast, diverse land forged a communal, environmentally connected identity and overcame their mutual squabbles in order to coexist, both with one another, as well as with the natural environment, which they are dedicated to restoring and protecting.

With the tumultuous arrival of the new cultures, those who called themselves the English, the French, the Scandinavians, and countless others, societal differences led to brutal struggles for dominance and for freedom. While the new cultures lost most of their technology, with most of it having broken down and the knowledge to repair it having been lost by the time they reached Kepler 77, they still had a considerable advantage when it came to technical expertise and ingenuity, which led to both scientific advancement as well as much more devastating wars. Not much is known about these dark times, but what is known is that millions died in the struggles.

During this time, Lavenna was divided amongst dozens of squabbling nation states, when the idea of a single, unified, multicultural state seemed unequivocally impossible, and when cultural, ethnic and traditional differences only deepened. It is often also known as the Lavennic Dark Ages today.
The Troubles

During the height of the Continental War, Seripha created countless brutal satellite states in Lavenna under the watchful eye of the LOA, the intergovernmental secret police that carried out the systematic extermination of numerous ethnic groups alongside the Seriphanese Army. The troubles saw this horrific oppression, as well as the violent and turbulent uprisings against Seripha.
The Early Years
475 AGL and beyond
The momentous declaration of the founding of the Lavennic Federated Republics marked both the promise of a bright, idealistic future, but also the threat of turmoil and division. The early years were a time of the young nation struggling to rebuild, to find its identity, and to reconcile the differences and historical grievances of its vast, multicultural population, while setting the stage for a true multiethnic society.
