The Lord of Makewent, perceived by many as a decent leige, albiet slightly corrupt in a jovial manner. Most the residents have little respect for the man, even if the position itself is taken more seriously. Apparently has the confidence of someone in the capital, enough to ensure his low-ley embezzlements and lavish castle aren't looked at too deeply.
Is a widower, his wife having died twelve years ago, and has three children; two sons and a daughter. The eldest son, Aefenwine, helps his father run the region and is considered almost as bad as his father, the other son is a courtier in the capital and known for his prowess in the joust. The daughter was married off many years ago to the eldest son of the lord of Boster and heir to Manridia County, something of a source of pride for Aefic.
