Session 10: No One Think of Being Old
General Summary
The session begins with the party finding themselves standing in a long brick alleyway with a ground of sparse plants and dirt. The alleyway is roughly ten feet wide. The walls seem to go up several dozen feet before disappearing into a swirling purplish mist. About two hundred feet down the alleyway it appears to widen at a large wooden door similar to the one directly behind the party.
A voice boomed out informing the party to make their way to the leftmost door at the end of the alleyway. Halfway towards the other end however, a flash of blue and grey light illuminate the hallway, leaving a drooling and menacing gray beast. As a skirmish happens, the voice calls out "Ah shit... That was expensive, forgot about that... What was the safety mechanism..." and eventually tells the group to run to the door. Heeding the voice, the party barely makes their way to the door with the creature on their tail when three additional bursts of blue light and black light flash and the creature disappears.
Inside the leftmost door, the party finds an extremely cluttered room with crates, barrels, glass bottles, tables, barrels, chests, trunks overflowing with haphazardly thrown weapons, and more scattered around the wooden floor of the five sided room. The room reeks of bitterness and standing pouring over some unrolled parchment is Del the wizard, cleanly shaven with straight orange hair flowing down his back though still wearing his signature dark brown trench coat and scuffed black boots. He curtly apologies for the front door, saying it has been centuries or months. When the party tells him they want a teleport, he demands two things in return: Alena Birch's Circlet of the Planeswalker and a favor (taking care of a chain devil in a piece of a plane he recently acquired). After a bit more conversation he admits the piece of plane is a bit of the Nine Hells. Fierce bargaining begins between Alena Birch and Del, including a brief conversation of the party in private. Eventually, an agreement is reached where Del will provide the party with teleportation to Ume, identification of Kale's Edible Hat , identification of Tork's pet, the solving of Rodan Spice's riddle, and a pseudo-patronage where the party can request teleport or help from Del and he can choose name a cost the party can accept or decline (getting him things from the material plane mostly). On the party's part, they will give him Alena Birch's Circlet of the Planeswalker though they will not assist with the chain devil (and Del declines the blowjob from Rodan Spice).
Del identifies Kale's Edible Hat , solves Rodan Spice's riddle (Copper Claw, Sky Invisible - the Doresak Desert hideout for The Copper Claw where Tork lived for several days and all the party was held after the Mervin Delse incident). With this done he takes Tork's pet and puts it into Magical Creature Holding Cell 2 (sending it with one of his wooden crate golems) and a promise to identify it over the next few months for the party (what will be less than a day for them). Del then takes the Circlet of the Planeswalker and with hunter's mark cast on him by Alena Birch, proceeds to go do some housekeeping before leaving his home. He is gone for half an hour during which Tork breaks a glass bottle like a cat, Alena Birch examines a bow that is a bit better than hers, and Kale talks to the remaining wooden crate golem, eventually identifying its wood as maple. When Del returns, he gives the party a gray stone slab rimmed in red metal. Two white stones in the corners allow them to control and write magical words on it. Once complete, they give it a hearty shake to send the message - yes, it is the E-n-Sketch of Other Planar Contact they can use to communicate with him in the future across planes.
With this business completed, Del plane shifts them to the material plane with a tuning fork and then teleports them to Ume from the grassy location they originally wound up. Once here, he departs back to his plane using a longer tuning fork.
The party then makes their way into the town of Ume and get rooms at the Fleshy Squid Inn & Tavern. While there and they get a table, they notice a faint blue light pulsating in Alena Birch's pack. The magical Etch-N-Sketch has a message from Del to Tork that begins a conversation:
The party then made their way to Sue's Trading Shop where they nearly purchased her entire stock of healing potions and greater potions of healing. She was so grateful she gave Alena Birch and Rodan Spice both 20 free arrows. Having some oddities, she showed the group some enchanted items: a teapot (enchantment), creepy doll (necromancy), and a wood axe (evocation). Rodan Spice left immediately after being shown the creepy doll while the rest perused. Eventually Tork purchased the tea pot in exchange for his homemade Peryton sword and agreeing to take the creepy doll too. Tork additionally purchased a quill and some parchment from her. She did not have any enchanted arrows unfortunately for Alena Birch. Once outside Tork dropped the creepy doll beside the building, and the party eventually went back to the Fleshy Squid Inn & Tavern. Here they had dinner together and Tork wrote a letter to Zirk he left with the barkeep (she is taking a motherly affection towards Tork).
Kale went to sleep out under the stars and divined the stars before bed. He was drawn to near a midpoint of the Antormis' River constellation, interpreting it to mean he was at the middle of the journey, not the beginning nor the end. Once he drifted off to sleep, he saw images of the stars in his dreams and heard a feminine familiar but unknown voice in his sleep saying "Not quite yet, not quite yet, but you're on your way to the stars".
Gal chat time happened back at the Fleshy Squid Inn & Tavern between Tork and Alena Birch in their room before they fell asleep for the night. This ended the session on Solis 18, 2597 with the next session beginning on the morning of Solis 19, 2597. Rejected Session Names:No Pointy Hats

Tork, I have identified your pet. It appears to be an Eye of Doom. Very Dangerous. Do you want it back? Del, the Real Del
Tork, it has grown.
Will this kill Tork? Tork, the Real Tork
Currently... no. Del, The Real Del P.S. You are not on the plane of "The Real Tork"
What does that mean? The Not So Real Tork
I live in Real Del. It is my home. Your home is the material plane. Not the plane of "The Real Tork". Stop. Del, the Real Del
Del, Tork wants to know if the pet could be trained. Tork, Material Plane
Tork, unknown. No one is recorded to have done so before. Del, The Real Del
Del, Tork would not like this pet... for now. Tork, Material Plane
Sorry, had a big problem. Took a couple days to get under control. Copy that. Del, the Real Del.

Zrik, Tork is excited to see you. Tork is on a quest with Tork's friends. Tork has gone to Jil'nan. Tork would like Zirk to wait until Tork returns, which should be the day we agreed. It should be the day we agreed, but may be a day or two late. Tork, The Material Plane
