Session 35: We're Celebrating Doing the Last Thing We Accomplished

General Summary

This session began on HearthWarmth 8, 2597 a bit after midday with Joint Operations LLC's intent to meet up again at dinner at 7PM in the Ward of Nobility at Elegance's Enchantment for promised pizza (cheese possibly included).
After Tork, Alena Birch and Wren went and got Zirk, they met the rest of the party at the Elegance's Enchantment along with Atticus and an awakened Cameel. Inside the had a great deal of conversation about what Atticus had been up to and discovered blueberry pie tastes like rats because of them.

They decided to spend the night at the Cloud and Stars Inn except for Tork and Zirk who went back to their place. The next morning everyone went to the Spice Estate and had a meeting with Roland Spice and Joanna Spice separately. Atticus used detect thoughts during the less than pleasant encounter with Roland Spice who made vague threats about the grafiti on the estate and the usefulness of the trappings of power. Joanna Spice was probed as well. New information included Roland Spice worrying that his "position within the guild is coming Into jeopardy, All That I Have Invested, And All The Power I'm Set to Acrue". He was also thinking his political rivals were causing the grafiti, but with the group's questioning, was becoming less certain of such an eventuality. When asked directly about the scroll of primordial creation, his thoughts betrayed that "We Stole the Scroll to Use It and We Wanted a Devil vanquished now rather than later". Upon sensing Joanna Spice's thoughts when she was asked about who might be opposing the Spice household with specific names, she thought "What does he expect? Me to go around and start spewing the names of the Oasis Guild?"

With these conversations completed, the party exited into the streets of the Ward of Nobility within Skormp once again on HearthWarmth 9, 2597 at 9AM to plan their next moves.
