Session 43: A Call From Your Uber Driver They're Getting Evicted

General Summary

The session began midday on HearthWarmth 16, 2597. Word spread about the party Ambassador Rodan Spice was throwing and Rodan Spice prepared 20, 5 gallon barrels of wine from his everflowing bottle of fine wine. While Tork learned from the cook all blueberries from the last harvest had gone bad, a philosphical discussion was held about what constitutes a "baked rat". As the Absolute Majesty III continued along the river towards the sea and the sun set, the party began on the deck. Atticus and Tork got into a drinking match which Tork won though he did blackout and begin questing people about if they had hooves. Kale put him to sleep and Zirk took him back to their room while Kale did some divination of the stars. Kale was drawn to near the beginnning of Antormis' river, and felt that his parents were telling him they were on a path of destruction, but were still a ways away from it. With this, everyone went to bed who needed to sleep.
In the evening on HearthWarmth 19, 2597, while Joint Operations LLC was enjoying dinner, Advisor Sil'a came to report that in the open seas far off the coast they spotted three pirate ships. He wanted to know what Ambassador Rodan Spice wanted to do and assured that if they attacked it would be a trivial battle. After conversation and a vote of Joint Operations LLC, it was agreed to attack the ships. Atticus hurried down to the gun deck while Rodan Spice and the rest of the party (excluding Tork who was trying to get past guards to get himself into a canon) went to the bridge. Atticus fired the first shot from a distance, still striking true on one of the ships and causing it to begin taking on water. As the Absolute Majesty III came within 1,000 feet the other starboard canons let off a volley and one ball slightly dented part of the Absolute Majesty III's midsection. From this volley and Atticus' next shot, one of the pirate ships caught on fire and another began to sink. Rodan Spice gave the command to leave the remaining ship, but Atticus stealthily loaded and fired a canon, striking true and causing it to break apart and head for the dark depths below.
It was decided then that Tork would turn into a giant shark and try to bring back the other ship's captain for interrogation. Giant Shork got into a brief battle with a mage before the mage died and then proceeded to eat 15 more pirates before all that was left was the captain. The Absolute Majesty III dropped a rope ladder to the man at this point and he was escorted aborad. Ambassador Rodan Spice decided to put him in the brig and attempt to get some information out of him before handing him over once they reached Del. Atticus managed to get a complete manifest for the three ships (the man had been captain of one, the Sea Scurvy). With this information Kale, Wren, and Tork turned into octopi and searched for the what was told. They managed to recover a total of 5,500GP and a Gem Encrusted Goblet that were added to the pizza party fund (as well as two dead bodies that Tork ended up throwing overboard).
On HearthWarmth 26th, the party observed an orange comet in the sky. It was identified as Galphor's Comet, a brillant celestial object that only appears after several hundred years of being gone and will be present night and day for a full year. On DeepFrost 1, 2597 (the Winter's Solstice), the Absolute Majesty III docked at Del and Joint Operations LLC had six hours ashore before needing to return to the ship so they could leave at twilight. Jandar stayed behind and Rodan Spice threatened Advisor Sil'a that if the ship was burnt down when he got back he would unleash an unprecedented vengance. With that, they made the hour long trek north to the shack that served as the entrance to Real Del on the material plane. Knocking they heard a someone jilted voice ask who they were and then say they could come in. With this they were sucked into the entryway.
Making their way to the left door as before, they found themselves in the Front Workshop of Real Del though without Del. They discoved a small automotan creation of Del's that had been trapped behind a crate (for 800+ years). It hadn't seen Del since then, about 4-5 months in the other world or so it thought. It stated its designation was Front Workshop Automotan 001 though the party called it Little Buddy and Wall-E instead. After helping tidy up the Workshop, it did help them unlock a magically locked and hidden trapdoor in the room which led to the Magical Scrapyard. While searching the room Atticus found a movable bookshelf that had a doorway leading to a void before another doorway was 70' away. After a couple expirments, Tork went in where he suffered damage from a lack of atmosphere and was unable to make sounds from his screams. He was pulled back in by rope and that direction was abandoned for the time being.
Tork also attempted to message Del on the Etch 'n Sketch of interdimensional communication sending a message of:

"Del it is Tork trying to get ahold of you, we are at your house, where are you?"
Which only revealed Del's etch 'n sketch under a stack of half finished automotan designs on his workbench. After Little Buddy said the last place it had seen Del go 800+ years ago was to the library, Joint Operations LLC opened the trapdoor at the rear of the room and began descending towards the library. The session ended here in Real Del on DeepFrost 1, 2597 (The Winter's Solstice), early in the afternoon should they have been in the material plane.
