Session 81: You Are the True Altar of the Titans

General Summary

The session began on BranchForth 28, 2597 around 6AM in The Poisar Alliance on its East Coast in the forest of the Benefactor's estate.
Upon waking up, the party decided to go to check in with Velomatus, the headmaster at Lorehold College about further information on the book of information on the Altar of the titans. Kale used tree stride to transport them to Lorehold College. Upon arriving, a student accused Rodan Spice of doing 'Drow Face', which Rodan Spice refuted through intimidation. Instead Rodan Spice made the student go off looking for new clothes for him. They then visited Velomatus' office, a cavern where he sat at a desk in the middle in his human form.
They asked the headmaster many questions, and lobbed some accustations about allowing the Benefactor to check it out. He shared that the book was written by Klein, Klein was buried in a cemetery atop the cliff, and that the Fates Final Victory (a series of islands in the inland sea) is where the altar might have been used by Ta'jat.
After exiting the office of Velomatus, Rodan Spice had Alena Birch send a message to Samantha (aka the Mother Whore):

What's your status, btw I'm a drow now with smooth silky ebony skin. I'm assuming this is Rodan, I'm establishing myself in Foun. I look forward to examining this new form. Samantha.

Rodan Spice also had Alena Birch follow up with Advisor Sil'a:

Sil'a, what's your status? Who is this? This is Rodan, I don't even remember where you were going, so what the hell is going on? This is Sil'a, we are going back to Foun, as commanded by you. We are just now entering the sea itself after exiting the river. We should be at the city.

While ascending to the top of the cliffs above Lorehold College, Rodan Spice paid another student to threaten the student he sent after his robes to bring them or else. Up at the cemetery, Alena Birch eventually finds 'ein' on a grave marker and manages to find the faint outlines of 'Kl' before it. With everyone summoned over, Rodan Spice begins shoveling before Wren used move earth to move the remainder of the dirt. Rodan Spice jumped into the grave when uncovered and fell through the casket. He grabbed the skull of Klein as well as a gold pendant before climbing out. The party began working on deteriming the questions to ask Klein in advance on his book on how to make and unmake dieties.
With this, Alena Birch reanimated the skull and began to have the party ask questions, and it came to life with raspy breath:

Alena: Why was the book on making and unmaking dieties written.
Skull: I combined and located the knowledge to ensure that it available should they need to be dealt with.
Alena: How do you use the altar of the titans when it is fixed?
Skull: Once you have the pieces, they must be mended back together. It is then a matter of reciting the incantation.
Alean: What is the incantation to use it?
Skull: The incantation is speaking the desired deep name, uttering the words necessary to reshape the lines under existence.
Alena: Where are the pieces located?
Skull: The pieces of the altar were scattered and hidden by the followers of deities, all that remained were myths, and riddles which I collected.
Atticus: Is there a draft, notes on the book? An earlier copy?
Skull: This knowledge landed me in an early grave. There was only one copy, for the fear of the ignorant is dangerous.

With this, the party decided their next move should be heading back to Bloomhaven. They filled in the grave of Klein and Rodan received a box with four fine robes, with gold filigree and dark navy blue texture.
When they returned to the Bloomhaven via the Great Tree, the group eventually found Penelope. Atticus reported the loss of 97 druids for his soul, and after a fair amount of conversation and Penelope holding her tongue, they went their separate ways. The party returned to their magical demi-plane door while Penelope went off in the other direction. At the demi-plane, conversation turned towards what people would do when this was all over; Kale mentioned going to the astral plane and speaking through plane, Tork mentioned getting married, and Atticus mentioned no one speaking to him.
The session ended on BranchForth 28, 2597 around 10AM on their demi-plane, the entrance located in Bloomhaven.
