Elihal Westerland Character in Ire | World Anvil

Elihal Westerland

Draconis (a.k.a. Golden-Drake)

Elihal always stood out from her family. Where they would lock themselves in the Palace to rule in shadow, she would roam the country. Seeing all she could. Elihal had hoped this lifestyle would continue for her immortal life, but the blood of Royals is bound in fate. In 1005 her Father aranged a match and she was married to Lord Francis of the Westerlands. While the two may or may not have actually found love, there was no doubt they supported each other. In fact after her death in 2079 Francis would take the sword Golden-Drake--from which Elihal earned her nickname, and bestowed it to their son. After boy revoked the name Westerland, and took up the name of his sword. Declaring himself Norin of House Golden-Drake.   Today Elihal Draconis is remembered fondly, and praised as a hero. When the Great Cities fell and the country evacuated Elihal raised an army of 220 Elves and made one last stand at the border between Tir Orail & The Vale. Her and her company all died that day, but their bravery lives on in the hearts of their people.
