Jozare Lionheart
A strong bulky and popular among women paladin.
A once holy champion of Gilean, he devoted his life to gathering knowledge. However, after a few heavy encounters with mages and wizards killing hundreds with the very knowledge he collected, he turned on his order. Killing a few mages and wizards, he destroyed as much knowledge as he could. This evil act would, however, not go unpunished. As he was turned into an immortal death knight.
In his early years, Jozare fought as holy paladin in the Champions of Silamwen. Traveling far and wide to save lives and gather knowledge for himself, his deity and his council. The major following of Gilean was spearheaded by The Council of knowledge (the then council governing banora). Documenting and hoarding massive amounts of knowledge on his travels, many of books he transcribed and gathered are still present within the great library of Banora until this day.
As he found himself retiring from his adventures with the Champions of silmanwen, he settled in his home stead in Banora. In the years that followed, the mages hungered for more knowledge. With Jozare now simply a protector of the city, the massive influx of knowledge from his travels stopped. This lead the council to questionable decisions.
They began a violent expansion and confiscation of knowledge of any neighbouring settlement. Sending out squadrons of mages to threaten and force the powerless villages to give up their knowledge to council or be destroyed.
Jozare attempted to follow and comply with the gruesome requests made of him in the first years. Attributing his horrifying actions to his devotion to his god. It wasn't long however, until he couldn't stand the threats, the extortion, the slaughter.
The knowledge he was gathering for years was no longer the prized holy goal, it was the bringer of all evil. The books, scriptures, spells scrolls and tomes; it had to be destroyed, it had to burn.
Sneaking inside on a warm night, he found his way to the private section of the library and without hesitation, set it aflame. He took to the council, those whose hunger for knowledge caused the death and destruction and attacked them fiercely. Murdering 3 of the 8 members outright, he suddenly found himself fallen. His deity had abandoned him. Only further enraged at this, he continued attacking. Killing another, he was finally struck down by one of his old friends, Vosal Chig dwarven wizard of the champions of silamwen.
Jozares body howevever would not rest after his death, turning him in to a death knight. As such, Vosal sealed him away in one of his furthest most remote research facilities The Desolate Hollow. Here, Jozare waits to be released and continue his vengeance against the knowledge and mages that caused death.
