Dulcet Assembly
An oddity compared to the other nations in the Solanaveldt, the Dulcet Assembly functions on a democracy where even the homeless, as long as they are a citizen, has a voice and power in the government. The Assembly thrives on the freedom it provides as well as the horde of gold that passes through their territory thanks to their vital economic positioning as well as their place as the premier producers of mead. Thanks to their excellent diplomats and ability to easily pay off any major problems life here is well above the average in the Solanaveldt, and if anything were to threaten that they would have to contend with the Alderwards...
Structure
In the Dulcet Assembly every citizen no matter race, religion, gender, age, or creed has the right to vote. Citizenship is granted by being born to two citizen parents or by the Assembly agreeing by a simple majority you should be a citizen. In the Assembly every Kanoia's vote is equal, however citizens are free to allow others to vote in their stead for any reason. The most common occurrence of this is parent's voting for their child. While this practice is viewed as odd in many cultures, it is believed that if a person trusts another so much with their vote, that they will have their best interests at heart.

Legislative Body
There is no set legislative body, at best a person will share what they believe should be the law or how something should be done. If, for example, there were citizens who though there should be a tariff on imports from another nation, they would simply have to convince enough of their fellow citizens that they should vote for it, and if a simple majority is achieved, the tariff would come into effect.
Judicial Body
While the citizens of the Assembly determine laws, the Alderwards are responsible for the maintenance and enforcement of those laws. While not originally hailing from Tapli, the Alderwards strongly belive in their duty to protect the people of the Assembly.
