Cicero and Anastasia discover that Black Dog Mercenaries and unknown Wizards have taken Evgenii.

While camping out for the night Anastasia and Cicero hear the dying wails of an animal in a nearby forest. They go to investigate and find that it's Evgenii's beloved wolf companion Cazinogo lying half dead with a spear in his side. They manage to save the wolf and follow the tracks of battle. They discover some dead mercenaries and a large teleportation circle bearing a symbol not outwardly familiar to the party. With some thinking they recall hearing about a powerful, secretive, wizarding kingdom on Hanrar; The Kingdom of The Red Star. It becomes clear that Castygys plans involve Evgenii somehow, and also that he has powerful allies working with him.
