Irkalla Desert

The Irkalla desert is an expansive desert that coats the northwestern point of Takawaoku. Likely caused by the presence of the Jitounoc Range and aided by ancient magics lingering from either the First or Second Divine War, it is largely a very dry and very hot sand desert. Strange crystalline growths are present throughout the sands, particularly concentrated along the western side.
Areshket claims dominion over the sands, and they too became incorporated into the pseudo-realm of the demon lord Areshkagal when the sphinx was trapped on Takawaoku by Gaia's Lament.
