Sylphs are native outsiders descended from the Plane of Air. Though they usually live on the Material Plane with other mortals, some do remain further out beyond the planes.
They are usually delicate and thin, with a breeze often following them through life. Many bear beautiful pale blue or green swirls across their skin as signs of their extraplanar heritage, but can otherwise pass themselves off as human. Like aasimar, they age far slower than humans, and their lifespans are more akin to those of elves.
