The Opaline Grand Theater

Purpose / Function

The Opal Theater was constructed during the Imperial reign to provide a venue to showcase Elven prowess in the arts. It was built with the materials a wealth of the entire Eltree people and its grandeur is indicative of this. 
Besides its role as a performance hall the Opal theater provides access to the bardic arts and is the greatest school for aspiring artists in the realm (assuming the artists in question possess the necessary grace).

Architecture

The Opaline Hall is constructed of bright white marble enchanted to hold the coloring of shimmering opal. Its bright domed roof matches the rest of Ave Allanar with its bright emerald and gold coloring. The structure itself was artistically crafted by the greatest architects of the empire, its design blending the motifs of classic tel-quessir architecture with a modern global Imperial design drawing from the many kingdoms of Odela.
The interior of the Grand Hall was designed to take advantage the acoustics of the performers allowing for superb sound throughout the hall.

Tourism

The Opaline Hall is among the most attractive locations in Ave Allanar, even all of Forlond. Drawing all types of performers.
The Grand Hall is the centerpiece of the theater and as such draws those seeking an operatic and performance-centered destination.
While not as impressive as a dedicated gallery the primary entranceways and hallways of the theater are lined with masterful statues and paintings.
