He supposedly grew up in a family that did not worship Mantha, but he saw the truth and reported them. They were captured, and he became famous. He was highly devoted to the Manthasir ever since then. However, this is belived by some to be a lie, encouraging others to report people to the Manthasir.

Brun has worked for the Manthasir for over thirty years, and he has been on the Council of Five for seven years, after the previous representative of the Manthasir on the council died.
