Constable Berris
Everska is largely a quiet borough. Indeed there is idle gossip as both the Leshandras family and Plantares lead hedonistic lifestyles but little happens in the way of crime. Constable Berris until recently has suffered from acute boredom.
Now that murder, arson, and she suspects extortion have raised its ugly head you can imagine her frustration when due cooperation is not made by the parties who have been victim.
Meerandre Leshandras has demanded that justice must be done but when questions are made of him he becomes elusive. Much of the staff seems afraid to talk.
Not only have members of the noble Leshandras family gone missing but servants have reported members of the garden staff and field workers have disappeared as well.
When one lies around waiting nearly a century to really do ones job and is blocked from doing it one can be thrown into a tizzy and that is precisely where Constable Berris is.
