Shuttlecloak

The Shuttle cloak represent the weavers of Portsmouth which is its second largest industry. Both cotton plantations and silk worms are plentiful in the areas surrounding the city that is mouth of the continent to the outlying world.    As such the weavers have interests in shipping company and rent a vast amount of warehouses from Paulo Gardan who controls the waterfront.

Structure

The weavers guild are a matriarchy always led by a council of three. A maiden, mother and crone. Each generation of weavers has representation, however the final word is always delivered by the eldest. Stages of weaving are handed down from eldest to youngest. Thus it is the children that do the separating and the spinning. Young to middle age do the weaving and the eldest the design and deals of all projects.

Culture

Weavers in this realm are very concerned with ones place in the family. One must always respect the word of the elders yet even the youngest must have a voice. The eldest will always have the final word but weavers believe that babies have a wisdom that elders have lost. So children are always consulted. Elders realize that every action has a future as do little ones.
