Ixion, Elemental Goddess of Air

Ixion is the youngest of the powerful Elemental Gods. The daughter of the Dawn Titans Asograth and Akadi, she is the youngest Primordial but the most powerful.

Ixion she has no offspring native to Jethiea. Her only offspring are the creatures of her native elemental plane of air. Ixion is the mistress of all circulating air in the world. As such, she is also the Tauthians’ Matron-Deity of wind, breeze, tornadoes, and cyclones.

Ixion can be a violent and temperamental Primordial, and her followers are keenly respectful in deference of her power and anger, which can quickly stir up dangerous wind gusts, tornadoes, and cyclones.

The Sect of druids that follow Ixion wear stark white robes to represent the pure and invisible air of their mistress. These druids dwell and worship normally in stony mountains, open cavernous lands, and deep underground passages where the wind constantly blows through and is felt. These winds are said to be the “Whispers of Ixion”. Ixion’s Druids erect great temples on high mountain tops or airy plateaus to honor their Goddess and all temples are open so that the Goddess can blow her breezes through them easily.

As a neutral elemental Goddess, Ixion has no rivals. But, as the youngest Primordial and Child of Asograth she can be selfish and spoiled and often competes against her sister Myrival to garner favor from her father. Ixion also, shares her domain and plane with her mother Akadi, which at times has caused troubled times the entire Cosmos has felt.
