Enomotarch

Chosen by Ares Mars Olympia & Leonidas Olympia out of Morai Hoplite ranks, each Enomotarch is a junior commander within the Morai.

Qualifications

Capacity for combat is one of the significant qualifications to become a commander within the Mora, but not the most substantial. To be a commander, one must elicit a sense of trust and growth, watch over their fellow soldiers and to put it mildly, care.

The test to become an Enomotarch is more about inspiring loyalty and the willingness of one's comrades to follow the potential commander into the thicket of death than being the strongest or most physically capable. An intelligent and tactically sound mind, and companionate desire to push one's fellows can tip the scales to the natural leaders Ares & Leonidas look to foster.

Appointment

Personal selection by Ares & Leonidas, in consultation with the Polemarch, Lochagoi & Pentekonters of the Mora.

Duties

Train with, and lead an Enomotia, or 36 person squad.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Hoplites in the Enomotia are equipped with properly maintained & working gear.
Training within the Enomotia.
Fulfilling commands from the Pentekonter.
Keeping their Enomotia alive.
