House Heiliator

House Heiliator is a blend of a traditional Magisterial House and a Nomadic House, their oldest traditions are founded in their origins as an ancient Nomadic House. Requiring all their Navigators to go on long pilgrimages they call the Wandering. The Wandering is meant to open the minds of the Navigator, though often Navigators of House Heiliator have to travel in disguise and with guards to ensure their safety during the Wandering.

History

House Heiliator are probably the oldest established family in the sector, they proudly display a lineage dating back to the Age of Strife. They once were a nomadic house that settled down when this sector was first being reintegrated into the Imperium. During the Horus Heresy House Heiliator was very late in passing on their pledge of fealty to the Imperium, it was clear they were biding their time to join the winning side. This has left them on the cold shoulder of Imperial politics for ten thousand years. Only their pedigree as Navigators has saved them from irrelevancy. With the return of Guilliman House Heiliator has found itself regaining much of its former glory as their particularly skilled navigators are in high demand for bypassing the Great Rift.
