Dwarves, a people near extinction. So rarely seen in modern times, they are legendary in most of the world, only their ruins and the massive tunnel systems remaining. The dwarvesbane plague nearly wiped out the species entirely.
They are now found only in the most remote regions and spaces of the world. Dwarves are an ancient conservative culture that values caution and patience.

Dwarves natural resistance to toxins tends to cause them to enjoy extremely spicy and bitter food, including some spices, foods and substances that are inpotable to other species, or even dangerous.
It is traditional for dwarven communities that allow outsiders in to have alternate options as many dwarven foods are disgusting or dangerous to others.

Funerary and Memorial customs
Before the decline of the species, the most common form of burial was sky burial, taking the body of the departed to the surface closest to the Keth, and leaving the body for the animals and the elements.
