Esam
A village on the coast to the west of small size. It's largely build of stone sunken into the ground in traditions Ankamooran style. The village is built on a rocky outcropping about a mile from the coast. The exterior of the promontory is terraced with grape vines on the lee side.
There is little crime and no sheriff.
Esam is named after the ship that brought its original inhabitants to Kyneslund.
Around 4816 famine struck the town and many died. The previous elder ventured into the Whispering Woods to seek an answer, as was instructed by the soothsayer Elorna the Blind. The elder never never returned but the famine stopped soon after when a merchant ship loaded with grain wrecked on the teeth with all hands lost.
The crops in 4827 was bad. Especially the grapes.
