The Iron Hills were a region of steep, rocky, erosion prone hills in Kyneslund. Located south of the Kyne River Valley and east of the The Greenwood, the Iron Hills were known for excellent deposits of mineral wealth, the iron in the hills lending their distinctive ruddy red earthen tone.
