Molly

Molly Meza (a.k.a. Aniconic)

Molly is your regular nice but not too nice person.   She falls in the introvert side, but that's not exactly related with her preference for reading instead of interacting with real people.   She will rather avoid any new relationship and projects, but once she starts one she will fully commit to it, and she expects others to do the same.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Don't invite her to do sports or anything remotely similar, she'll be tired before the activity really starts. And no, she cannot help you to move that heavy table, she looks somehow sturdy, but in reality she's just slightly plump. If you pay attention you'll notice her arms are quite weak.

Facial Features

Molly has a round, very expressive face, quite easy to forget.

Physical quirks

  • Right handed
  • She hunches a bit when she's sat.
  • Walks in a curved line. On purpose.
  • Apparel & Accessories

None.   She likes some necklaces, but wearing them turns fastidious for her really fast. That means she buys and uses that kind of jewelry, but she lost them in a day or two, because she totally forgets when and where she took them off.

    Specialized Equipment

  • Laptop
  • Math books
  • Smartphone
  • An spiral notebook
  • Mental characteristics

    Education

Engineering Student. She doesn't hate it, she just doesn't love it enough.

    Accomplishments & Achievements

She has a not quite popular blog, Character’s factory, where she had published lots of short stories and the start of sixteen novels that she never finished. The few readers she has seem to love the blog, and hate the never-ending wait for the next chapter of this or that story.

    Morality & Philosophy

She thinks there is good in everyone, or at least the potential for good. But she often chooses to stay away because she has learnt that she's unable to know when a person will use their potential for good and help a stranger, and when they would be a terrible monster, hurting even the people they love.   She has always had trouble to understand why the other people do what they do, or when they will do it. That has lead to disappointments and one or two regrets, but more than anything, she finds it annoying.   Is not that she doesn't want to interact, she simply finds it too challenging and potentially painful. And what for? People is not really interesting enough to stay around them. Whatever some writers see on their neighbors to include them in stories, she can't see it.   There are exceptions, though. She's quite invested in the relations she does have. Often she finds out that they are erratic too, but it's too late to step back.
The thief could kill him right there and he would never give the order to execute her. It was self defense, and no one would miss the tyrant. But it wasn't her place to decide who lived and who died. It wasn't the king's place either, but she couldn't force him to do the right thing.
    — Last paragraph published of one of those blog novels she never finished.
She likes to think that she helps in her own way, that she doesn't cause trouble at all. But she won't really question herself on the details. She's a good person, that's it.   On the other hand, she's a little too easy to annoy. What other people does with their lives is not her business, but once it affects her, she doesn't care for their reasons, she just want them to stop annoying her. Immediately.

    History

The deep admiration that Abigail feels towards Molly is the proof of how people can change their standards for those they like for some reason. Yes, the erratic schedule of Molly's blog updates had drove Abigail crazy for ages, but she would never complain. Molly doesn't even know about that admiration, she's just happy to count with Abigail's eye to spot inconsistencies in timelines and locations. On the other hand, ever since they started chatting online, Abigail has become a close friend, and that means the world for Molly, she hopes she's not too much of a burden sometimes.

    History

Haru liked Molly's blog. Molly was astonished by Haru's stories.   They had to talk at some point, but they were both surprised to find that it was very easy to chat with each other.   Writing together? Haru didn't see it coming, Molly can't believe that it came true.

    Motivation
Molly has no idea what she's looking for. She rather live the moment and learn whenever she has the chance.   She takes more seriously the projects that shares with others that any task that is only hers. That means that the novel she's writing with the Four writers with an A., is her highest priority these days, not for whatever opportunities it may open, but because of the team.
