A New Companion

General Summary

After narrowly escaping from The Court of All Flesh, Izanagi teleported the group back to the location of the army's previous campsite where they stumbled upon the fully dead remains of a Si-Xiong war tortoise and the tribe it had been carrying. The group was ambushed by the perpetrators; a pair of Nightwalkers and other spectral entities. 
However, they were saved with the appearance of Niktaor Virfir, a lore bard who'd been wandering Yomi. After hesitantly allowing Niktaor to join them, the group discussed whether to pursue Hiruko and the Mausoleum of the Wretched or to return to the army. Unfortunately, Benkei was unable to regain his ability to Plane Shift the following day and they were faced with an ultimatum.
