Aplistos, God Of Greed

Once a revered god among the pantheon of deities, Aplistos was known as the god of wealth and prosperity. He was worshiped primarily by dwarfs, goblins, and dragons who sought his blessings for material success and abundance. His temples were adorned with gold and his priests were among the wealthiest in the land.   However Malak, God Of Corruption with the help of Katares, Goddess of Curses gifted Aplistos cursed jewels that made Aplistos grow arrogant and greedy over time. He became obsessed with acquiring more and more wealth and power, and his worshipers began to suffer. The once-generous god became a tyrant, demanding more offerings from his followers and using his power to manipulate and exploit them.   His sister Parago, Goddess Of Creation grew concerned about Aplistos' behavior and warned him of the damage he was causing, but he refused to listen. In his hubris, he believed that he was above reproach and that his power was absolute. He began to amass an armies of dragons, using them to terrorize villages and kingdoms and demanding tribute from their rulers.   In the end, Aplistos' greed proved to be his undoing, Parago, Goddess Of Creation crafted a legendary crown ordained with jewels from the divine heavens, and used it as bait to lure Aplistos into a trap where Portes, God of Doors was able to seal him away.   Despite his fall from grace, Aplistos still has followers among those who seek wealth and power at any cost. They offer him sacrifices and seek his favor, hoping to gain his legendary hoard of treasures. But those who follow Aplistos do so at their peril, for the fallen god is known to be treacherous and cruel, and his blessings come with a heavy price.
