Symbol: The Twisted Corpse
The God of Revenge, Oylnyat seeks an animalistic desire to inflict pain upon those who have wronged him. As with most of the Far Gods, little is known of his true nature, though his worship is rare even on the Material Plane. Often his shrines are only found in the deepest underground lairs. Oylnyat is thought to doggedly pursue his foes, with the sole goal of prolonging their suffering as long as possible. Some believe him to be almost a mindless entity who is driven by a constant need to make others feel as much pain as he does. Of all the Far Gods, Oylnyat is one of the most feared. It is said that those who fall into his grasp will live a life of endless physical and mental agony. It is said that those who worship Oylnyat are those who have been pushed to the edge by their desire for retribution, seeking the neverending catharsis of breaking their victims. Little is known about how Oylnyat might manifest, if he ever did. Despite this most all legends depict him as a giant slug with hundreds of claws for legs and a twisted humanoid face.
